Gold & Platinum Membership
Each summer the RNYC Philip J. Keeping Youth Sail Training Centre*, in partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Sailing Association (NLSA) and Sail Canada, offers certified sailing instruction programs open to all youth in the Province. As a means of promoting and engaging support for this valuable and worthwhile Program and to update our small fleet of training boats, the RNYC is introducing Corporate Gold and Platinum Memberships.

NLSA moved their Learn to Sail program to RNYC in 1994. The Club began operating the program in 2002. Plans for a building for Junior Sailing were completed in 2007. The Club did a major fund raising project and began construction. Mr. Phil Keeping was very generous with donations and made property available for boat storage and operations and constructed a dock. The new building was named after him in 2009.
